Johnson’s Cattle Weaner Pellets are a hay/grain balanced production pellet specifically formulated for growing weaned calves.

A balanced complete feed, processed with:

Braley, wheat, straw, legumes, soyabean meal, vegetable oil, vitamins and minerals reduces the risks associated with selectivity and provide a safe diet for cattle.

Strict quality control standards ensure that all Oaten Hay is ARGT Free and tested for nitrates. In addition our facilities operate X-Ray facilities or decontamination units to remove contaminants ensuring a safe feed for our customers.

The Johnson’s Pellet

Formulated from a selection of the following ingredients;

  • Barley, wheat, legumes, soyabean meal
  • almond hulls, oat meal, legume hay and straw
  • Molasses
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Vitamins, minerals and Bovacillus™
Bovacillus™ contains two strains of Bacillus bacteria (Bacillus subtilis DSM5750 and Bacillus licheniformis DSM5749) which were selected based on multiple criteria, one of which is their capacity to produce enzymes. These enzymes can assist with the digestion of feedstuffs fed to cattle and other ruminants Bovacillus™ is a registered trademark of Chr Hansen

Directions For Use

  • Cattle should be given a minimum of 3 days free access to high quality hay prior to introduction to Cattle Weaning Pellets
  • Gradually introduce the pellets over a 7-10 day period with hay or straw remaining available to cattle during this time
  • Once cattle are accustomed to the pellets they can then be fed ad-libitum
  • Expected intake is 2-4% of liveweight per head per day
  • Ensure clean fresh water is always available

Storage

Store in a dry, cool place that is free from pests and vermin
Best used within 6 months of the date of manufacture
