Due to experiencing growth, we are looking to add a Quality Control & Logistics Co-ordinator to our team of dedicated and skilled professionals based at our Dooen facility.

Key Responsibilities

Raw Material Supply & Quality Coordination

  • Assess the export production schedule and program the required volumes according to grade specification and scheduled shift times
  • Liaise with the Production Scheduler to organize schedule to best suit production performance and raw material usage
  • Liaise with growers and contractors to arrange daily deliveries ensuring a strong relationship is maintained with all growers
  • Ensure raw material and finished goods meet customer requirements; and
  • Assist purchasing team during harvest to ensure all hay products are tested and graded according to Johnson’s purchasing standards.

Position Requirements

  • Proven experience in Quality Control and Logistics in the agricultural or related industry
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Strong computer skills and ability to work in a range of different applications; and
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to upholding high-quality standards
