Position: Stock Receival & Dispatch/Weighbridge Operator (Harvest Casual)

We are now seeking a Stock Receival & Dispatch/Weighbridge Operator (Harvest Casual) at our Highbury, WA site, with the potential for ongoing full-time employment. This role is integral to our operations, ensuring the accurate weighing, recording, and inspection of incoming and outgoing stock.
As the Stock Receival & Dispatch/Weighbridge Operator, you will be responsible for managing the weighbridge, recording stock movements, inspecting loads, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. You will also play a vital role in maintaining safety protocols and supporting our logistics and stock control functions.
Responsibilities:
- Weigh and record all incoming and outgoing stock (hay and straw) using the weighbridge system
- Allocate weighbridge tickets to all loads and ensure the accuracy of data entry into the Pulse system
- Conduct moisture level checks and inspect ARGT tags to confirm the correct load is being delivered
- Assign unloading positions to drivers and ensure smooth coordination with the Stock Controller
- Collect and record samples to meet quality control requirements
- Ensure inventory adjustments and stock control records are up-to-date
- Prepare dispatch tickets for outgoing loads, including after-hours collections
- Ensure compliance with company quality policies and procedures
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture, adhering to all safety protocols and participating in workplace inspections
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a stock receival, dispatch, or weighbridge operator role, preferably within the agricultural or production sector
- High level of attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and independently
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar stock management systems is advantageous
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
